These Terms of Use apply to the use of the Berlinim website and to registration for events published through it.

1. About the Platform, Berlinim is a community platform intended to publish events and gatherings for the Israeli community in Berlin and to enable registration for them. The website and community are operated voluntarily and on a non-profit basis. Berlinim is not a commercial company or an association and does not charge fees for the use of the website or for managing the community. Some events are free community gatherings, while others are operated or organized by external event organizers, businesses, or other third parties.

2. Event Registration, To register for an event, you may be asked to provide information such as your name, email address, and telephone number. This information is used to manage the registration, communicate with you regarding the event, and verify registration or admission to the event. The use of personal data is subject to the website's Privacy Policy and applicable law.

3. Event Payments, Berlinim does not collect, receive, hold, process, or manage participants' funds or payments for third party events. Where an event requires payment, the website may redirect the user through an external link, including a PayPal link, to the payment page of the event organizer or the business responsible for the event. Payment is made directly between the participant and the event organizer or business through the payment account of that external party. Berlinim and the website operator do not receive or hold the payment funds and do not act as a payment service provider or as a party to the payment transaction. The mere presentation of an event on the website or redirection to an external payment page does not make Berlinim the seller, the provider of the relevant service, or a party to the contract between the participant and the event organizer. Responsibility for pricing, collection of payments, invoices or receipts, taxation, cancellations, refunds, and any other financial obligations relating to the event rests with the event organizer or business receiving the payment, in accordance with applicable law.

4. Cancellations and Refunds, For events operated by third parties, cancellation and refund policies are determined by the relevant event organizer or business. Berlinim does not hold participants' funds and therefore cannot issue refunds for payments made directly to an external event organizer. Requests concerning cancellation, refunds, charges, or disputes relating to a payment must be addressed directly to the party that received the payment. Where specific cancellation or refund conditions provided by the organizer have been published on a particular event page, those conditions will apply to that event, subject to applicable law.

5. Conduct at Events, Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward other participants and to comply with the rules of the venue and the instructions of the event organizer. The event organizer or a person acting on their behalf may, subject to applicable law, refuse admission to or remove a participant whose conduct violates the event rules, endangers others, or materially interferes with the proper conduct of the event. For an event operated by a third party, any matter concerning a refund following refusal of admission or removal from the event must be addressed directly with the event organizer.

6. Responsibility for Third Party Events, Where an event is organized or operated by a third party, responsibility for the operation of the event, its content, services provided at the event, venue, prices, changes, cancellations, and payments rests with that event organizer. In such cases, Berlinim acts solely as a platform for publishing the event and providing access to registration. Publication of an event on the website does not constitute a commitment or guarantee by Berlinim regarding its quality, whether it will take place, or its suitability for any particular user.

7. Limitation of Liability, Berlinim makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate and up to date information. However, errors, changes, or information originating from third parties may occur. Liability is not limited or excluded in circumstances where such limitation or exclusion is not permitted under German law. Further information is available in the website's Disclaimer.

8. Changes to These Terms, Berlinim may update these Terms where necessary due to changes to the website, the activities of the community, or applicable legal requirements. The current version of these Terms will be published on the website.

9. Governing Law, The use of the website and these Terms of Use are governed by the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
