Privacy Policy

This document explains what personal data is collected on the Berlinim site, for what purpose, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller, The management team of the "Israelis living in Berlin" WhatsApp community and the administrators of the Berlinim website, Kolonnenstr. 8, 10827 Berlin, berlinil.group@gmail.com.

2. Data collected, When registering for an event: first and last name, email, phone, and names of additional guests. When using the contact form: name, email, subject and message. Basic technical data (IP address, browser type) is also collected automatically to operate the site.

3. Purposes and legal basis, Registration data is processed to manage event participation and related communication (legal basis: performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and for entry verification at the event. Contact form data is processed based on the consent given (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Sharing of data, Registration data may be shared with technical service providers acting as data processors on our behalf (e.g. hosting and email delivery), under data processing agreements as required by Art. 28 GDPR. Payments are made directly via PayPal and/or the organizer indicated on the specific event page, card details are never stored on or pass through Berlinim's servers.

5. Retention, Event registration data is kept for a reasonable period needed to manage the event and verify entry, then deleted or anonymized per our internal retention policy. Contact form inquiries are kept as long as needed to respond.

6. Your rights, Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, port, and object to the processing of your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant German data protection authority. For any request, contact us at berlinil.group@gmail.com.
