Cancellation and Refund Policy

Berlinim is a private community initiative operated voluntarily and on a non-profit basis, presenting events and gatherings for the Israeli community in Berlin.

Some events published on the website are organized and operated by external event organizers, businesses, or other third parties in cooperation with Berlinim.

1. Event Payments, Berlinim does not collect payments from participants for events operated by third parties. Where such an event requires payment, the user is redirected to an external payment page belonging to the event organizer or relevant business, for example, a PayPal page belonging to that external party. Payment is made directly between the participant and the event organizer or business. Berlinim and the website operator do not receive, collect, hold, manage, or process participants' funds and do not receive participants' payment method information.

2. Cancellations and Refunds, Because payment for a third party event is made directly to the external party, requests to cancel a transaction or obtain a refund must be addressed directly to the party that received the payment. The cancellation and refund policy applicable to such an event is determined by the relevant event organizer or business, subject to applicable law. Berlinim does not determine the refund policies of external organizers and cannot refund funds that were not received or held by Berlinim.

3. Event Cancellation or Changes, Responsibility for an event operated by a third party, including changes to its date, time or venue, postponement, or cancellation, rests with the relevant event organizer. In the event of a change or cancellation, any entitlement to a refund and the processing of that refund must be addressed with the party that received the payment, in accordance with the terms of the transaction and applicable law.

4. Rights Under German Law, Participants' rights that cannot be excluded or restricted under German law remain unaffected by this Policy. In certain circumstances, the standard right of withdrawal applicable to distance contracts does not apply to services related to leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance, pursuant to § 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 9 BGB. Where a ticket or service is purchased directly from a third party, responsibility for providing the legally required information concerning the transaction, cancellation conditions, and refunds rests with the party offering the service and receiving the payment, in accordance with applicable law.

5. Contact, For questions concerning payments, charges, cancellation of a transaction, or refunds relating to a third party event, please contact the event organizer or business that received the payment directly. For questions concerning the website or registration through Berlinim, please contact: berlinil.group@gmail.com. Berlinim may assist in establishing contact with the event organizer. However, providing such assistance does not make Berlinim the recipient of the payment or responsible for issuing a refund.

6. Third Party Events, Publication of an event on the Berlinim website or cooperation with an external event organizer does not make Berlinim the organizer of the event, the ticket seller, the service provider, or the recipient of payment where the event is organized and operated by a third party. Responsibility for the event and the related financial contractual relationship rests with the relevant event organizer or business, in accordance with applicable law.
